Really like that man. He seems to have terrific energy. I know i'm listed as a junior member, but I have been a vol fan for over 30 yrs. I grew up in northern Hamilton County. I remember alot more good years than bad and vol fans and players always had class win or lose. I think Butch Jones is gonna take us back to where we are supposed to be. GO VOLS ALWAYS

bUTch simply "gets it" and understands the high expectations of Tennessee football.

He seems to put alot on himself but takes it in stride even though his expectations of himself are high.

Lots of energy and seems to work tirelessly towards achieving the goals he sets for himself, his coaches and the team members.

Folks, I think we finally have a serious football coach in bUTch Jones but it's still going to take several years to rebuild from 1 of the worst programs in the country to back on top of the SEC East and beyond so try to be patient.

VFL...GBO!!!

so far, so good. He's doing the things he needs to do and seems to be doing them right. The real test is going to come in the autumn air when the fair-weather fans start to clamor about winning 'em all. The win-win solution will be to just actually WIN 'em all and leave the bashers in the dust.

I really like Coach Butch...I hope he can get it done here because he appears to be one of those coaches that would do anything for UT...He is very likeable and I think next year during recruiting We will see just how likeable him and his staff really are....Gonna be hard to judge him for this recruiting class as he didn't really have that much time to add his own personal touch to it...I wish him luck

But even with that little bit of time, he and his staff have accomplished alot more and gotten the Vols more exposure than what many, including myself, thought would be the case at this time when he was first announced. He's gotten us in with alot of top recruits that never had us in their radar, much less their top three.

He and the other coaches seem to have not only have rebuilt alot of the wooden bridges in state, but looks to have built them out of iron and steel, so as to make those relationships last. Winning the war at home is something Dooley didn't seem to think would matter, but even in this class of recruits it has shown that it does.

CBJ has reconnected Tennessee football with those that wore the orange and white before he ever stepped foot in Neyland. He's welcoming them back with open arms after the previous system seemed to keep them locked out.

He's not only looking at our past and repairing the teams present state, he also really seems to be looking long into the future. I take that as a good sign that he wants to do his damnedest for the Vols and plans on sticking around for as long as we'll let him.

We may have really lucked out with this hire moreso than anyone could have thought...least that is what I'm hoping.

This guy is like a sleaze-free version of Bruce Pearl. I think he's going to do just fine here.

We have heard more from Butch in a short time then we heard from Dooley in three years.
