He beat Vandy last year in a Bowl game with MUCH worse players than we had. In fact he had worse players than Vandy.

Not saying that beating Vandy is an accomplishment, but it is a start.

What I am saying is that he beats teams that he should beat and surprises teams that he shouldn't beat. After we dominated them last year, he held them together and had a good season. Dominating an NC State team and a good showing vs WVU. A Dooley led team loses to Florida and it is season over.

I am happy about the hire, let's get the season started!

The Vandy of 2011 was not the Vandy of 2012. As much as I hate to say it, the team is growing in talent and they're developing. I expect to see the same kind of Vandy in 2013 as we saw in 2012.

I'm not saying we won't rise to our former level of prominence, just that under Franklin, they're not the same ol' Vandy. For every game, play hard and play to win. Take nothing for granted, no matter who the opponent is.
