JONES: We had a very productive open week. We were able to get individuals healthy and improve on the fundamentals.

JONES: Another tremendous challenge with Vanderbilt coming in. They have a lot of confidence right now.

JONES: It's going to take a lot of mental effort and intensity this week. This is going to be an intense football game.

JONES: It's another tough week in the SEC. We have great expectations here, but my focus is getting this program back where it needs to be.

I appreciate the information. Butch gets it, but he says this before every game. Coach speak, but it works for him.

Some of yall are wound a little too tight. If you really want to know, I had two VN tabs open. One was VN thread, the other was for the Tweets thread. Suppose I could have "deleted" the words but so be it! Continue on and Go Vols! :hi:

Sounds like he is trying to temper expectations. Not exactly the "We always beat the @*$! out of Vandy!" bravado that gets fans fired up.

I was just playin. I joke around...its what I do. Not an attack, there are plenty of others on this board that take care of the attacking other posters. :hi:
