He has been offered higher paid positions and turned them down. He is deliberately accepting a nominal salary in order to stick it to Tennessee. So if a few fans point out his vindictiveness, I think we can accept that.

"Former Tennessee head coach Butch Jones also took part in the 2020 AFCA Convention on its second day. Jones, who finished his second season as an analyst at Alabama in 2019, mentioned to Vols Wire that he eventually plans on getting back into a head coaching position again and is enjoying his time under Nick Saban.

One coach told Vols Wire that Jones will enhance what went well during his Tennessee tenure and will fix what could have been better when he becomes a head coach again"

Observations:

1. He must love doing minor errands for an egomaniac little man with a Napoleon Complex.

2. At his next gig, BJ intends to spend more time actually coaching and less time reading his thesaurus to make up cute catchphrases. What a concept. Oh....and if he has a future NFL Pro-Bowl RB on the bench, he will recognize that and make an effort to get him the ball. That too. And, he will tell the truth a bit more.
