Butch Has 'Sleeping Giant' Ready for NSD

Heading into National Signing Day, the first day for high school football recruits can sign a Letter of Intent, the Vols have the No. 4 ranked class in the country according to 247Sports.com after posting the No. 7 ranked class in 2014. College Football Playoff participants Alabama and Florida State are No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, followed by Southern Cal, annually one of the nation’s best recruiting programs. The Vols are ahead of national champion Ohio State (No. 7), runner-up Oregon (No. 15), and every program in the SEC East. The only other team with a top 10 class that posted fewer than eight wins this season is No. 9 Texas.

Good explanation of gray shirt and blue shirt in the article...

Go Vols!

I am curious...do we have a list of potential blue shirts in this class?

You'd think in-state kids who could leverage the Lottery scholarship, but I know that's pretty short-sighted.

Any ideas?

Well it's the eve of VOL harvest #2...After the long recruiting season of worry and negative thoughts by VolNation, get ready for CBJ to again show us why we are on the road back to the top. Butch gets it

I thought I read somewhere that there's 2 guys that may be blue shirts. Jocquez Bruce and Kyle Oliver maybe?

i think this guy is going to be good. No one hears him out beating his chest.

Darrell Taylor - Yahoo! Sports

I concur. I hate to say someone will be better than Kahlil but I got a feeling this guy may end up as the best player from this class. He reminds me of a Jevon Kearse type prospect. He'll probably redshirt this year but in 2016.....watch out. He might be a guy who leaves after 3 years.

If he leaves in 3 years and reminds you of a Jevon Kearse type of player, then I will be a happy, happy person!! Cant wait to see him side by side with Barnett!
