Since this name isn't going to have kids line up at the door to come to UT, how we he do? Can he recruit? Who do we lose/gain by this hire? is this Dooley 2.0?

Jones has accomplished a lot. Had he not lost to UT last year this would be a celebrated hire. But he did lose. So he will have to get results before some come on board.

It will be hard to expect him to compete with the other high profile coaches in our league. Prob finish 25 th or so, and lose more ground to our rivals finishing top five top ten

If he keeps Jay Graham we will probably get Derrick Green 5 star Rb and marquez north 4 star wr. If Tee Martin joins the staff we probably pull the wr massington who was commited to usc and Jalen ramsey who thinks alot of Tee Martin.

I don't know much about him as a recruiter, but really all he needs are good recruiters on staff like graham and tee.

We have been in it with a lot if top recruit without a head coach so I would guess they were just looking for an excuse to come.

The class can be anywhere from 25-7, a ton of guys are in play

He has been winning with 2-3 star recruits at central Michigan and cinnci. Our name sells itself. We will be good.

According to ESPN he has a number of 4 stars considering Cinci just not committed. But other than that, I dont know if he has any ties with other good recruits!!

He will pull recruits Dooley was a snoody prick and I hear this guy is All Vol.. Turned down 3 jobs in 2 weeks for us! We gotta support this guy and recruits will come

He averaged around 50th at Cincy. I understand it would be hard to recruit top prospects to Cincy, but if he can't continuously be top 10-15 here, then he will have no chance with our schedule.

(On a side note, Brian Kelly averaged around 60th at Cincinatti)

What makes any of us think that this guy will keep UT guys or hire them. He knows nothing of Tennessee history! He is a Yankee! This is his second trip to the South and he got whipped by our former coach the first time! He will bring his guys in and that is it! We may have improved one or two wins a year at best unless he can hire someone to coach defense. YOU HAVE TO PLAY DEFENSE IN THE SEC TO WIN!!!!
