There have been a lot of people bashing Butch on here. I don't think he is the best hire, but I bet that most people bashing have not looked anything up about him either.

He currently has 3 conference Titles
50-27 Record .54
1-5 vs top 25 teams (Virginia Tech is the 1 win)

Coached Central Michigan 2007-2009

He'll have plenty of chances to improve that horrible 1-5 vs. ranked team record.

For a note he was 1-2 versus ranked in his last 2 years. Some Cinci fans have said that Kelly leaving destroyed the program in a sense... and Butch Jones was given a Kragthorpe (followed Petrino @Louisville).

He will surround himself with top recruiters...watch his coach of the year youtube...his kids love him and would take a bullet for him. I like the guy until he gives me a reason not to. I swear some of you guys would not support it if Neylands Ghost came back and coached

Beat Charlie strong 2/3 years but lost to Dooley. Has won everywhere he's been though. He's our coach so I'm all in. GBO!

I will not be purchasing season tickets this year.

I will attend the UGA and S.Carolina game, MAYBE

I hope I can get my money back for the flight I purchased to Eugene...............

I seriously want to scream, I am getting all kinds of **** at work right now.

So you're saying it'll only take him 3 years to get his guys as upperclassmen so he can win? If the school's record declines his first year, i can't wait to see ours this next season.

I understand folks being against him but he seems like a great coach. Surround himself with Orange flavored staff and hit the road to get us some Jimmys and Joes

Central Michigan was picked to win the MAC every year he was the coach there

2010-Picked 3rd with Cincinnati (finished 7th)
2011-Picked 5th (T-1st)
2012-Picked 5th (T-1st)
