Butch is making a real push to get us back on top, and he's using every means available.

"I believe it's been a great avenue to be able to reach out to, what you had talked about, our passionate fan base, our student body, but also to our recruits as well," Jones stated. "I think that anytime you have an opportunity to sell Tennessee football I'm excited to do it."

Butch understands that kids today use Twitter like kids never have, and that's a big way to reach them. There was someone on this board recently who said Butch was goofing off by his use of twitter. He was wrong.

The 2014 class is one of the most important signing classes ever to our program, and I am glad to know Butch is working so hard, using every avenue available to him to steer our program back on the road to glory.

NOT to be a arse.... but so does every other coach in the SEC...

I like what i see from CBJ so far, .....but to be honest, we are singing his praise far too much for guy who has not won a game in orange and was beaten by the worse coach in orange in over 35 years

He gets a lot of praise because its been a long time since we've had a coach who worked so hard. Butch seems to "get it" and I hope he succeeds.

All the high school coaches in Tennessee have said it, so it seems.

...and a few in-state or nearby recruits who said they never even got a call from UT until CBJ arrived. I understand not every player is needed for the team, but at least one of these players was a 4* QB! He could have been working, but unlike Jones, no one ever seemed to catch him doing it! Recruit is Josh Dobbs from Ga., and today he is a VOL!

Great quote there VG. It may, however, be to positive for some to digest.

who says dooley didn't work hard?

I don't know if Dooley worked hard or not, and it does seem he knew very little about recruiting (or certainly had a different formula than most of us Vol fans would like) but I am willing to bet he did not come here with the thought that he would not be successful

Just like our present coaching staff.

I am not saying I want this staff to fail, I am a Vol and I want them to succeed and win a NC ...but untill they prove more than they know how to use twitter....

The "Butch get's it" thing is running a little thin

I believe this staff is simply doing what the rest of the SEC is doing...They have done MORE than Dooely, but that is what was expected from any new staff

If CBJ can win here he can stay a long time,................................ but if not ......these same "Buth get's it people" will be calling for his head
WAIT AND SEE
