Butch Jones: The man of my dreams...apparently

Last night I had a dream that we beat Alabama... 56-45.

I admit that this is quite crazy and for us to score that many points on any one is definitely just a dream, but it was still awesome to dream about.

I remember I was watching the game at Buffalo Wild Wings with some friends in Cookeville, TN. I remember winning at half time and thinking "if we can just hold on..." And Even though Alabama kept on scoring, Butch Jones and the gang matched each touchdown.

Then, with Tennessee on top 45-49 and right at a minute to go in the game, AJ McAaron was moving the ball down the field fast. They needed a touchdown and it looked like they were going to get it...

With only a few seconds left, McAaron drops back...he throws deep close to the end zone... I can't remember who the receiver was...because the guy who catches the ball is Cam Sutton! I remember watching on the screen at BWW...freaking out!...He's running, weaving in and out, then hits a seam! No one catches him! Touchdown, PAT...56-45.

It was a good dream...and although it is very unlikely to happen that way, if it does, you heard it here first.

I had a dream...that a HAMBURGER was trying to eat ME :)

ah, the dream thread ... we've all been there, but in my experience (with my own dreams and hearing, reading others)

The game never turns out anything close to what the dream was.

I would think that you had nitemares of the Marshall/ M.T.S.U. game last night

I also dreamt that we beat Bama back on Monday night. Good times... The closest I have ever been to a win over the red team.

I had a dream the night before the game in 2010 that I was playing nose guard for UT and we beat Alabama. This would've been a tad more believable if I wasn't approximately 105 lbs.

As long as you bleed orange, 'want it', and play your gaps right, then it's possible.

I had a dream we beat the red team last night too, although the details are much more sketchy in my head than yours are.

I dream that bama screams
after there buttwholes gets reemed
crimson tide flowin out dat ass
as butch takes em to class
aint talkin bout no bus or car
but more like a rowboat with their balls in a jar
