"No comment on the officials today" LOL

Check out that raw emotion.

I wish he would have manned up and said "This loss is 100% on me and my staff. This is never acceptable at UT, and I am truly sorry for the showing out on the field tonight."

Officiating was bad, the Vols were worse. CBJ didn't get the job done. No excuses.

Our boys were once again resilient, so we at least have that going for us. What' does that crap even mean? If being resilient means coming back week after week for a butt-whipping I don't want to be resilient anymore. It is like watching the Italian Stallion take a beating in the first Rocky. That is what resilient looks like.

The "best offensive line in the country" couldn't move the pile on a critical 3rd down to seal the game. They couldn't hold the pocket during pass plays. Maybe resilient means "total crap"

The no comment on the officials was bush league IMO. They made the right call by reversing it....kid got the first down pretty easily.

Otherwise, I had to stop watching it halfway through... couldn't take the excuses, platitudes and coach speak another second.

Well said. Resilient must mean "thank you sir may I have another" to butch. "Hey, we got our ass kicked last week... lets show up and do it again, whaddaya say coach?"

"Wow, you guys are resilient"- Butch

Websters defines resilient as , "Able to be strong, successful, or bounce back after something bad happens". Come on, either CBJ is a blind, deaf, dumb idiot, or just a bold face liar! UT players and coaches are NOT resilient, but quite the contrary. Bite the bullet, and admit it coaching staff; Franklin handed your asses to ya!

On that critical third and one, the freshman QB appeared to check off at the line and tried to run Neal wide instead straight ahead. Lost 3 yds on that call.

Would have been appropriate. I won't even listen to it, cause there seems to be a theme that he dose not own up to his gaffs.

I'll be glad when this o line is done, and I'll be even happier when most of dooleys recruits are gone. Pig killed us tonight, croon is a non factor, j. James entire career at ut was a bust, and aj Johnson is an idiot. I like jones, I just want to see him coach with the players he chooses that fits his system.

Toto, I'm not in the Big East anymore
What truly bothers me about Butch's staff hirings is, you have Ellis Johnson fired as the HC of Southern Miss, about the same time Butch is hired. Johnson wasn't much of a HC, but HE WAS A WELL PROVEN DC...IN THE SEC!!!

Jones had every chance to hire him (Auburn didn't pass on it) and instead chose to hire a guy who got fired as a DC at UGA...with all that talent/speed. Just because he was his DC at Cincy.

Randy Shannon has a distinguished resume as the DC at Miami...could have done well here.

I agree and think we should go after Chizik for DC. Sucked as an HC but hard to argue his DC record.
