He was just on ESPNU and looked really down. I think he is upset with the signing class outcome. I believe the guy worked his ass off to sign us a great class and got shafted by several recruits. Feel bad for him but he needs to go to work and win some ball games this year before the recruits start rolling in...keep your head up coach!

He should be. But I don't feel bad for him. I feel bad for the fans. We don't get 3 million dollars for losing to the rest of the SEC.

Good post. I think he did the best he could with the hand he was dealt.

Not to get off topic, but if anything, I blame Dave Hart more for not acting sooner on canning DD.

Bingo, this year should have been the start of CBJ second year.

I think He thought he had Bell. That would have devastated anyone.

Bell was SUPPOSED to be a lifelong Vol fan? Not so much. Me, I could NEVER go anywhere else. Regardless.

I feel bad for the fans too. All the fans who have to read BS like this from a clown like you. Maybe he's down because he really cares. Because he really wants to do well. Unlike that other guy who didn't give a damn.

Feel bad for the guy and his staff. They really worked their booties off the last month and not a ton to show for it. Think Bell may have played them a little cause I'm pretty sure the coaching staff thought he was coming.

I don't think Jones realized what he needed to do to recruit successfully in the SEC. He brought his coaches from cincy, believing that his one or two good recruiters, Thigpen and Graham, could carry the load. He now sees that his best recruiters are akin to the fourth and fifth starters on a baseball team. We need an ace or two to overcome our natural recruiting difficulties.

yeah. How terrible that they didn't build relationships in a few weeks that would overcome relationships built by the competition for 2 years.

Now we have message board posters telling us that they know SEC recruiting better than the HC

The only one we really lost today is Bell that we really thought we had so if he had choose us this board would not be as down today, what we need is LINEBACKERS.:ermm:

No one has to read anything I write. Use the ignore function if logical conclusions based on factual evidence causes you so much grief.
