Ok...sorry but this response was worthless. If u pay someone much more than the predecessor then u expect him to turn poop in gold ASAP. Not go..."well we r going to give u the same amount of time and see if in a couple yrs u r doing better than the guy we just fired paying 40% less." Yeah not a very good idea especially when u have a fan (customer) base that is getting tired of the product being dished out.

The reason the "customers" are impatient already with a new coach 10 games into his first year is because of the cumulative effect of the failures of the last 5 seasons IMO. In particular, the dismal, biblical failures of the Dooley era have taken quite a toll on the customers' patience. And honestly, I never once gave a thought or a damn what Dooley made (2.3 mil), nor do I give a crap what Butch makes (2.95 mil). Just want results.

Did u just really add the buyout into Dooley's #s to pad it up to make ur pt look better??? Smh

So it's 5 yrs of issues and u expect the guy that is closest to the biggest factors that caused the downhill spiral to fix it quickly and give the guy that is furthest removed from it equal or more time. Huh...yeah CBJ, and staff, needs to show on the field he can coach with the big boys ASAP.

And why i included my last statement. But at the end of the day he is a professional getting pd to do something he isn't. He straight up hasn't had the players he had ready to play the last few weeks. He has players on the team that can play well enough to not get embarrassed if he has them ready. He hasn't the last few weeks which needs to be a concern.

We are about to face a Vandy team in a couple weeks that just beat UF and plays KY this week. What r u going to say if he loses to them close or not??? With 2 weeks to prepare???.....Ummmm "franklin has been there for a few yrs and has "his" players"????

What is this hippie ball??? He's a grown man making plenty of money. He doesn't need love he needs to show he can get the job done on the field with the players he has. He was handed plenty of capable players that could compete vs uscjr and uga and now after he gets his "one big win" it's "ALLLL GOOOOD MAAAANNNN" doesn't matter that we get embarrassed the rest of the season.

I love UT. The school I graduated from so take ur "so called fans" bs and put it in the pipe ur smoking around the "love circle".

You're one of those I like to refer to as an unrealistic fan. You feel just because he is the head coach, he should be able to make it all come together in record time. SC and UGa are not on the same level as the last 3 teams we have played. But you won't see it that way and that's good for you. Believe what you want but you're wanting blood from a turnip.

So next year when we are much better you will probably come in here and give Butch his due respect. You can say you love UT all you want but I highly doubt anyone is buying your stupid BS. Your blind ignorance will not let you see the problems we have.

It's ok there is always room for you at the kiddie table with the other unrealistic fans.

He's just pissed that they fired his boy Dooley. Guy thinks Dooley recruited good players and was turning things around. Now that Dooley got canned he expects the next guy to win every game.

Reality is Fooley sucked so bad it will take a couple of years to start to turn things around.

No you think CBJ should be able to fix the failure that was Dooley quickly. Let me ask you a question, how come Dooley failed so miserably? Kiffin went 7-5, so Dooley was actually left with MUCH better talent than CBJ has. Kiffin gifted Dooley with talent and he still couldn't win.

Butch is the coach that we wanted to step in for Phil . Kiffin put USC posters on the walls of the UT campus . Nuff said. Dools would not let VFLS in without a app. Butch has embraced our tradition and welcomed back former players and coaches with open arms. He wants to be here and is turning the program around . Look at the class that's coming, let this man work and support this team like we're about to win a national championship . They giving there all are you.

I guess coach Jones should tap the X button faster . Not certain why he has not developed as much of his talent as possible in the 11 months he has had the team and built as much depth as he can with his freshmen and walk-ons . Maybe he should consider recruiting for the future while he's at it .

Oh trust me I'm not unrealistic. For goodness sake I was able to see the positives last year that others couldn't while they were busy burning the house down wanting Gruden to come here.

All this crap about how CBJ is trying to rebuild is crap. He has players that shouldn't get embarrassed. If CBJ nds to rebuild with players then what did dooley have to do when he walked on campus with what 65 or so players on scholarship?? The guys situation is way better than the one Dooley walked into. I never said I expected us to win the games did i??? That would be unrealistic. What I do expect is for CBJ to have these players ready to play and not get embarrassed. Is that unrealistic??? If u think so then u need to rethink yourself and keep the "blind ignorance" and other insults to ur morning mirror conversations.

Yes I did think Dooley got a raw deal and not enough time. Was it a love for the guy...no. But my love for UT. It is what my opinion is both as a fan and professionally. UT after Fulmer and Kiffin issues was burnt to the ground, and truly needed to be rebuilt. That's what Dooley had to go through. CBJ was handed a rebuilt AD and program and now just needs to get the house ready for the open house. He gets pd "get it done now" money not "get done when u have a chance" money.
