Speaking to the recently released SEC schedule, he was happy that the traditional rivalry game against Alabama remained.
He felt like offense was ahead of defense at the end of spring.
Regarding recruiting, he wants to make home turf within a 6 hour radius of Knoxville. Feels like there is a lot of great football within driving distance and wants to use location as an advantage.
New rules re: scheduling power conference opponents. He likes it, but weve already had a challenging out of conference schedule
He thinks the summer program is where football team/chemistry develops. The new rule that allows him to communicate with players 2 hours/week will help but they have to deduct it from strength and conditioning time. With as young of a team as we have, every rep in the weight room helps.
