Butch's Plan announced

Vandy hung 24 on A&M, beat UGA, and put 28 on Missouri. With tonight's lack of effort, it doesn't look promising for UT moving forward.

I don't think we will score 28 points the rest of the year.

Corey miller just said on locker room interview

Oh good - that makes everything ok now. And before this game he probably said we need to win the next 4 starting with beating Mizzou.
Since we have seen how much good all the talking has done so far how about trying a different approach and instead of making empty promises after getting blown out the defense actually tries to get off the field on third and long every once in a while?

Best Staff in America....

Not by a country mile.

Staff "openings" I would create after this season:

OC, DC, DB Coach

Bajakian - passes are sometime successful play calls, same HB dive on 1st down EVERY TIME fails EVERY TIME!
Where is running game innovation? Too much read option.

Jancek - defense is exposed against ANY ranked team. No stunts, bookoo missed tackles, general attitude and lack of agression

Martinez - his db's get burned EVERY game! We NEVER play bump coverage even when the situation dictates it (goal line) I would bench Coleman's ass yesterday. Cam Sutton has shown flashes of greatness, LaDarrell and Randolph are slobbernockers, and Justin Coleman is burned or confused EVERY series.

What am I missing? Why is it a bad thing for the coaches to have a goal of winning out?

Because they lose credibility when they say stuff that they can't back up (I understand saying this after UGA and SCjr games but the way they have performed last 2 week who is going to believe them - and this applies to both coaches and players - they all need to shut up, man up, and SHOW UP to play next week).

The bottom line we need to win 2 of the next 3 to get to a bowl. We have 15 EE we need to get to a bowl so we can practice them during bowl preps.

Dude, you're getting way too butthurt over this. Teams don't lose credibility for voicing their goals with 3 games left in the season. Stfu with this nonsense.

I'm not but the players and coaches should feel quite butthurt after getting embarrassed (to put it mildly) on national tv (again). And the proper therapy for their butt pain is not to keep making empty promises.

That wasn't a promise. It was a statement that most likely pertained to a question that was asked directly to him. You are making a huge deal out of nothing.

The ol is TNs problem at this time, all u have to do is block, throw and catch. The defense should be the ones to win games. TN has the only qb that gets less than 2 seconds to throw the ball. The ol has all seniors and that's the only bright spot.

Or pin them deep inside the ten.

The way our defense is playing we should NEVER punt - because it does not seem to matter to ANY opposing offense (even with backup QB's like UF, or freshman like Mizzou) if they need to go 97 yards vs 7 yards against our defense (they know for sure that any QB can get 15 yards scrambling against us on 3rd and long so as long as they are 3rd and less then 15 they got it made).
