This group of seniors has had to answer the same tired question way too many times. "What is it about this staff that makes you buy in?". For the first time, I think they have actually "bought in". Here are my reasons why...

1. This coaching staff has continuity and they are led by a proven winner. (you can only win championships at the level your on, SEC championships are next)

2. These players aren't blind to the level of excitement the fan base has and they're excited about it.

3. The quick rise to #1 in recruiting reassures this group of players that Butch Jones and his staff are legit. People say "it's early and really doesn't matter". I say BS. If you think the early recruiting success has no effect on the mentality of this team, your sadly mistaken IMO.

In the past these players have been asked to buy in on blind faith alone. Both Dooley and his predecessor could offer no hard evidence of their success. The fact that this team may actually believe in the group of men leading them has me excited about the possibilities this season may hold. I have a feeling we will see a team play harder than any team we've had in recent history. Without a doubt we have a tough schedule, but I believe (win or lose) other teams are going to realize real quick that they will be in for a battle when they play UT!!!

Buy in = trust = success. Pretty simple equation. It seems that most of the players trust their coaches.
