Do you think Buzz Peterson will be cheering for the vols in the tournament or do you think he is secretly hoping we lose?

Im sure he is cheering. he recruited all the players on this team mostly and I dont see why he would want them to lose. I'm sure he has a special place in his heart and I dont think he is as bitter as what we think. but who knows.

in a interview he says he told them he still pulls for the Vols because they are his players. He said his daughter asks him how he could possibly cheer for them, but he said he still has a connection with them.

Buzz needs to concern himself with coaching the glorified high school he works for now. Leave the real games to people who have qualifications beyond having a famous college roomate.

this is the "arena" if you call it that, that buzz coaches at. My 1a high school holds about 500-750 more than this.

My highschool basketball stadium can get atleast 5,000 people in it. that is really pathetic, even for a small college.

I had a buddy that played and was pretty good at Coastal Carolina
Did he play in the early '90s for Russ Bergman? Tony Dunkin was a pretty good player there then. They gave Indiana a scare in the '91 tournament.

UT is playing Winthrop first round. Winthrop beat Coastal Carolina by one point in thier conferece championship. I wonder if Coastal Carolina had beaten Winthrop, if Tennessee would be playing Coastal Carolina in the first round. That would be fun to watch. Bruce vs Buzz. Bruce would dominate

I would love to see Peterson get dominated by his old team, it'd be weird to see how the players would have reacted to Buzz's presence there. Probably start missing 3s and turning it over just at the sight of Buzz.

It would have been around 90 or 91 I believe, his name is Joey Hart. It was the year they played Michigan's Fab 5 in the NCAA's

They played Michigan in the '93 tournament. They really threw a scare into Indiana in '91. They came from about 20 down to be in the game with a couple of minutes left.

Actually, I think Belmont,Lipscomb.and Maryville College and alot of private colleges in Tennessee, costing 20-30,000 a year to attend and live on campus, 5000 is way over their seating capacity. I think CC is building a 10,000 seat arena.

The money we spent to send him on his way was well worth it.

If Peterson came back to Thompson Bowling for a game if we scheduled them, do you think our fans would give him a hard time or would we clap for him to be good sports, or would we acknowledge the situation as if it was just another game?

It definitely wouldn't be just another game.

I would HOPE that the fans would treat him w/ respect but..
