Tennessee has not lost 3 games in November since 1964.

The last time Tennessee lost Back to Back games to Vanderbilt 1925-1926.

Since 1925 Tennessee and Vanderbilt have met every year except for 1943 and 1944.

From 1948 - 2000 Vanderbilt was Tennessee's last SEC regular season opponent.

Tennessee leads the all time series vs Vanderbilt 73-29-5

Tennessee's all time record after a bye week is 78-37-9.

The last time Tennessee failed to play in a bowl game 3 consecutive seasons 1975-1978.

I get it now, the emphasis is on the facts. Thought the thread would be more about bye week, confused me for a moment.

Vandy and UT facts during bye week.

Good stuff though. Thanks.

Here is a useless fact.
Just two years ago we had the longest consecutive streak in the country over SEC rival Kentucky.
Now what is really sad is we don't even have 2 consecutive conference wins over any team in the SEC. But, that will change when we reach 2 wins in a row over Kentucky this year.
On a side note, we are 2-0 over Texas a&m but those are non conference wins.

Bye Week Useless Facts

Fact #1. Large volumes of alcohol will be consumed.
Fact #2. I will use college football as an excuse to get exceedingly drunk.
Fact #3. I will wake up - regretting said volumes of alcohol.

It was harder to get into a bowl game back in those days.
Out of those 4 consecutive years that we didn't go to a bowl, 1977 was the only year with a losing record. Now days if you get to 500 you are in a bowl.

at Vanderbilt 96% of students that attend are still there after 2 years, but only 87% of the original students graduate.

Tennessee only accepts 67.3% of applications submitted on average

On average, 51% of Tennessee students are female
