We are awfully late offering. Could be a fall back option, or it could be one of those that the coaches were told that he is interested in UT through back channels. So they made contact. I did notice that he goes to a magnet school. Very few of those kids get D1 football offers.

Aside from Jared Smith who the staff passed on this is only edge rusher the staff is pursuing at the moment as far as I know, the staff has stockpiled that position really well over the years with Pearce, Joseph, Herring, and Ross.

For SDE we are in on Shanklin and Dye, and have Utley and Loftin committed already

A younger kid that is still relatively new to football putting up those stats? He will get a solid bump if he can do something similar his SR year. If we can get him to campus and he camps well then we should really push for him imo.
