I have heard that our O-line has drawn so many penalties because of QB cadence. Even CBJ made reference to it in the MO post game presser. But, I have also heard that in a "hostile environment", etc....there is a silent cadence. Is cadence, either way, contributing to so many O line penalties last 2 games? Or what?
My apologies if this is duplicate thread on this.Merge?

57 Ford and a tank full of gas

Uncle! just deserves to me....stupid thread. Maybe we won't loose to Candy because of giving them how ever many yds we can in O line penalities to back Dobbs even further into a corner.

Grovol, don't let them get to you. No matter how much heat you take on here, just remember that only God can judge you. And also maybe your mom. And possibly members of the opposite sex, your neighbor, your boss....come to think of it, pretty much anybody. On second thought Grovol, maybe you should just pretend I was never here.

Its the beginning of a cadence from a movie

Besides, the cadence isnt the reason for their false starts. Watch the defender in the next game. As they close on the line, like they are blitzing, it causes Tiny to jump anticipating the rush

I can't find it now, but I had an article open a couple days ago where Mahoney straight up said that James Stone has been having some issues with the cadence, snap count, etc.

Mahoney said during a media Q & a that the oline needed to become more comfortable with Dobb's cadence. He also said some of the blame is on Stone for snapping it late.

Yeah.....but this late in seaon, and so many? With a senior line. Blitz is nothing new to these guys

I thought it was a possibility all season. Senior line who spent their first 3 years with a different qb's cadence. Then midseason it changes again. As a former Olineman (although not anywhere near this level) I can tell you it matters. That may be something that Dobbs has to work with the line at during the bye.
