I agree that he won’t have the longevity of Laettner or JJ, but I was basing my comments on the videos of him that I’ve seen where he is talking cash $hit to people. If you’re really good and white at Duke, people will really dislike you (Luke Kennard the exception), but if you’re white, really good and a dick people will hate you, like Laettner, Redick, Grayson Allen etc. Flagg will be the next hated Duke player if he plays with that same sort of attitude.

He looks like he could already play in the NBA, and that's as a senior who re-classified to graduate early. It's nuts. Not sure how great he'll be in 1 season at Duke, but I'll be pretty surprised if he's not an all-NBA guy at some point. He reminds me a lot of Rashard Lewis, and this era is a better fit for that kind of player.

FYI, a White player wouldn't be doing what Swoopes did, because all hell would break loose against the "Racist" White player. So spare us the alternate angle. It is what it is, no need to sugar coat.

I am sorry, I didn't realize I was speaking to the sole representative for an entire sports fanbase. If you have seen one thing, I guess that must 100% be the way it is.

the only negatives I have seen associated with Reese was when she was out, since then it was all positives. *at least when speaking about her as a person, seen some knocks on her game, but for all I know those were legitimate critiques* of course I don't claim to speak for an entire fandom unlike you.

If a white player said what Swoopes said about a black player, I wouldn’t jump to say it was racism in that case either. I can’t speak for others. They probably would jump to say that, but they’d be wrong, IMO.

Sounds like you're saying they're justified in crying race simply because you think others would if roles are reversed...shouldn't we just try to be better? Play the race card just because you can?

Agree.. Race card becoming trite.

Tangent - When I was typing race card, my brain sort of said Racecar. Then I remembered this ( posed as a question) if you spell racecar backwards, what do you get?

Apologies for throwing that in there. You'll never get that time back you spent spelling it backwards.. That's gone forever.

I was a teenager in the 80s, and I’ve got nothing but respect for women who can hoop like Clark.

Not sure how old the OP is, but clearly he’s chosen the D4H punk route by not coming back to eat his crow casserole.

I’m also guessing Clark would cook him repeatedly playing 1-on-1, 21 or horse.

I don't think people understand how good these girls are. They can't really keep up with men athletically. They get run off the court, but if you play half court, they can hang on the perimeter. A guy I know played D-III point guard and in his prime he played 1 on 1 vs a girl who went to UW and he had his hands full.

Was Reddick a dick at Duke? I don’t really remember any incidents with him. I know he wasn’t at the level of Allen

It was more about his demeanor and emotion . He would hit a big shot and let everyone know about it. He didn’t have any physical issues with anyone .
