I'm sure John would like to thank Lee Fowler and the folks at NC State for helping him get the raise he wanted at Memphis.

Cal understands the game in modern college athletics as well as anyone. Now it's John Brady's turn.

I think Memphis is probably a better community anyways, on top of Cal's pay raise.

Actually he did it for his assitants - he only took a 200k raise - as compared to a potential 700K. I am not a big fan of Cal but that actually showed that he has some, albeit very litte class.

Don't forget that he gets a $2.5 million dollar annuity if he stays 4 more years.

Good read. That's why Tony Barbee pulled out of consideration for the Murray State job. He and Derek Kellogg have to be two of the happiest guys in Memphis.

That's enough of a raise to play at least a few more hands of blackjack 30 minutes away in Tunica. :biggrin2:
