Thought this was worthy of a front page post, I posted it in the Terrence Jones thread in around the NCAA, but go ahead and move/merge if necessary.

Husky Men's Basketball Blog | Terrence Jones Still Hasn't Signed a LOI to Washington | Seattle Times Newspaper

Kentucky coach John Calipari called Jones after his announcement and Jones was on the phone for a very long time. About 15 minutes. Reading body language, Jones seemed pained.

He told me, "You hurt thousands of people just as much as you make people happy."

Jones' mother said if he hadn't chosen Washington, he was going to pick Kentucky.

Why should Jones wait to make money playing basketball when he could go to UK right now. It's just business

You might want to do some more research. I read in multiple places that the Seattle times misquoted. It was actually Jones that made that statement, and they took it to mean that Cal said it to him. It was merely Jones saying that with a decision, you hurt just as many as you make happy.

Also, it hasn't been proven who called who. Its a local paper pissed off because this may be the 2nd recruit top 15 recruit Washington loses to UK. (Kanter)

now....

Resume unbridled Kentucky hatred. :)

That actually makes a lot more sense.

Cal will recruit to the very end to get the best players available.

And by "Recruit" I mean sell his soul to the devil.

And by "sell his soul" I mean he'd be willing to sleep with his own mother to secure a top recruit.

And by "sleep with his mother" I mean have relations with the woman who gave birth to him.

make sense?

In his press conference today he said that he backs off a recruit once they have committed, and will only resume recruiting if they have publicly decommitted.

I'm pretty sure that Cal was in Selby's ear all along. And now with all of the Terrence Jones drama... I'm amazed that he could make such comments and keep a straight face.

What part of "pathological liar" do you not understand?
