I mean, I know it's Vandy... and I know they are 2-9...

But man, there must be something really weird going on in the Athletic Department. You have Bobby Johnson retiring right before the season with no stated reason, and this guy is out after a year.

Very odd.

I can't see how Bobby Johnson was forced out. They sent him to SEC Media Days. He retired in what... July? Early August? Seems extraordinarily counter productive to ax the head coach of your team -- however you feel about him -- a month or so before the season.
