Just started watching this on Netflix and quickly this is one of the best shows I have ever seen. There may be another thread about it but just wanted to see what everybody else thinks. Favorite line, "you looking for a d!ck punch?"

love this show. Watched the first season on Netflix instant but for some reason that's the only season on there. Second disc of Season 2 should be here tomorrow

I would put it as above average but best show material it's not, i can think of a good 10-12 shows on right now that are better.

It does get extra points for the apperance of Eva Amurri's funbags.

Enjoyed first season. Show doesn't seem to actually be going anywhere. Got tired of it after 2nd season. did not view 3rd.

Season 4 premiere tonight.

If you dont have Showtime, they are giving a free preview all weekend.

the first season is as good as it gets, the last 2 though haven't been very good.

Really looking forward to the new season of Californication and the premier of Shamless, could care less about the new Joey show.

still pretty funny, but strange they are still dealing with crap that happened in the first season. plot line never seems to change.

You are so right. Watch the first season and loved it. Thought I would watch it last night and was amazed that they were still talking about stuff from season 1. Still enjoy the "scenery" from the show.

Has anyone else heard if they are going to do another season?

Thought that wrapped it up, but heard they are scheduled to do another..

No clue about another season or not but I remember an interview after one of the seasons was finished and they said that the way Showtime shows work they never know if they'll be renewed until after the current season is finished filming. As a result, they finish every season with an ending that could be the series finale, not just a season finale.

It leaked early and I watched it last week sometime. Pretty good opening episode, IMO. I hate that Californication is only 30 minutes long, though.

Yeah, me too....

I just find it hard to believe they went forward 3 years without anything "major" happening while he was in New York....

Still just glad it and Shameless are back on....

This show gives me at least one good laugh every episode and as someone has already mentioned the scenery ain't too shabby either.
