I also feel that we can play well and steal a WIN against a solid Auburn team. This and winning the next two against the losers from Nashville and Lexington would secure a 7-5 season and a bowl. That is exactly where I expected this team to be and am proud of them for the effort it will take them to achieve such results given the circumstances.

You said Missouri was better than AU, and all last week the talk was how overrated Missouri was. So now it's clear the vibe is going to change to Missouri actually is a good team and now Auburn is the horribly overrated team. That's pretty easy to figure out, so you of all people don't need to criticizing anyone else's comprehension skills.

And you're clearly doing what I said, you're picking and choosing what you criticize Auburn over. Saying "Aw shucks they coulda lost to Wash. St. and MSU so they suck" and then completely ignore that they went to TAMU and beat them. Oh let me guess, TAMU is terribly overrated too so that win isn't impressive at all.

If you think we beat AU, your nuckin futs. Both the o-line a d-line seem to have regressed. AU runs a better spread than Mizzou and they'll wear us out.

Could have, would have, should have....is that seriously your argument? Need I remind you that in 2010 Auburn "nearly lost" a third of the games they played. A 3-point overtime win against a 6-7 Clemson team? A 3-point win against a 6-7 Kentucky team?

A win is a win. I also find it hilarious that you are using "near losses" that happened within the first few games of the season, in which the makeup of the team was far from developed. Nick Marshall was visibly nervous in those opening games; he now looks very poised. Auburn has improved as the season has drawn on and they have found their identity.

This Auburn team has flaws, but they know how to win and they make plays when they need to. Is it a losable game against Tennessee? Probably; but I dont really see what you guys see that makes you think you have any real "edge" in this game. The team that scores more points wins the game. Are you better offensively? No. Are you better defensively? Even with AU's defensive flaws, I dont think so. You dont even match up well defensively (UT's weakness against the run vs. AU's incredibly strong run offense). You can talk about Auburn being 'overrated' all you want...that isn't going to win you the game.

What's wrong with what he/she said? I agree with it 100%. All indications are that this program is headed in the right direction. We have a great recruiting class coming in, and I have all the faith in the world that CBJ is going to get this program turned around. I'm sorry if you don't. He's won everywhere he's been, and I've seen nothing to believe he won't do the same here. This year has been tough, but it was supposed to be.

Auburn hasn't played anyone yet. Lsu....they lost by 14. They were very lucky manzell was hurt for a couple of series in the 4th vs a&m. Anyone can score on a&m's D. We will play auburn very close, if not win. Their schedule isn't 1/4 the strength as ours. And it's night and day when ut plays in Neyland this season.

They caught Manziel to hurt him something we can't do. We let a 5ft nothing Mauk have his way with us. Our D is terrible. Our offense is almost as bad. There's a difference between optimism & realism.

I agree. I don't understand the fans on this board. We are way better than we were a year ago! We have a great opportunity against Auburn. We have a really good coach and kids in this program! The class coming in is a monster! Our OL has to run block better the remaining three games in the regular season. Defenses will test our young QB and receivers the rest of the season.

So when players get hurt against us, we caused them to get hurt because we're so awesome, yet Auburn was just "lucky" Manziel got hurt? Child please.

You guys obviously didn't learn anything from giving Missouri no respect all last week.

You don't understand the difference between this sentiment and saying we beat Auburn? Seriously?

You do realize one can think we're headed in the right direction and yet still not good enough to beat Auburn, don't you?

How in the world do you make the mental jump that me pointing out people here were giving Missouri no respect means that's why we lost?

Could it be I'm pointing out how stupid some of our fans are for expecting us to whip teams that are clearly better than us, and going to ridiculous lengths to discredit them? No...that couldn't be it at all.
