As many know Tennessee has finished top 5 in attendance the last 6 years in a row. This is an incredible accomplishment and te significance of it can not be undersold in my opinion. When recruits look at the top 5 in attendance and see Tennessee up there with, Kentucky, UNC, Syracuse and Louisville, I feel it really gives Tennessee and its fans a great name.

Recently Wisconsin over took Tennessee for 5th place in attendance this year. If Wisconsin sells out its final 2 home games, which is a strong possibility as they play rival teams, they will finish with an average attendance of 17,181. In order for Tennessee to pull back ahead of the Badgers and finish top 5 for a 7th straight year they would need a crowd of 18,300 in the home finale against Vanderbilt.

So let's pack TBA in support of our Vols regardless of the outcome Wednesday at LSU.

TENNESSEE VS. VANDERBILT

I'm going to the Women's SECT for the first time. I just found a reason for me to be happy the LVs blew the top seed. If they win on Friday, they'll play at 6 on Saturday instead of at 4, leaving me to catch the Men on TV somewhere. I may just walk into the Women's game a tad late.

Perhaps they'll air the Men's game in some kind of club area at Bridgestone.

If you're not going to Bridgestone, then I agree with the OP - let's fill up TBA!

a lot willdepend on what happens wed. if we win at l s u, then we are a shoo-in for 20,000 plus. a loss would be bad and hurt those chances of getting a hugh crowd. maybe around 17,000. wed is big for more than a couple of reasons !!

Agreed. Unfortunately that's what I'm afraid of is a loss and most people won't show wednesday.

Great OP. I hope you are selling the few thousand fans that will make the difference short. No matter what happens on Wednesday this program deserves a packed house on Saturday afternoon. That part isn't debatable IMO.

According to the news sentinel this morning, only 500 tickets remain for Saturday's game. Pretty impressive that we will be top 5 in attendance again with all that's happened. That's why (most) Vol fans are the best in the land. Now if we can just keep our tourney streak going...
