Sorry if this is old news. CBJ was talking about him today on 104.5 the zone. He seemed very excited about him and said he has a bright future ahead of him. Talked about him being the model of consistency (which is surprising to hear about a true freshman), and that he would definitely be one of the starting CBs this year. Also said that he could see time in the return game (punts and kickoffs), which I take as a good sign about what type of athlete he is. I'm very excited about this young man after hearing how highly CBJs thinks of him. I think we got us a good one.

Well I hope he proves them all wrong....but he hasn't played a snap in a college game none the less an SEC game. CBJ, who seems to evaluate talent, is, well just excited. But he hasn't really proved anybody wrong. But I hope to he!! he does.

Watched some of is high school highlights I think cam sutton was over looked as a recruit I think we got a real good corner who is only going to get better under with time

He did pick up some interest late in the year from AU and tOSU. Think we got a good one. Cant be any worse than what we had last year but obviously has potential if starting as a true FR.

Was very glad when Cam Sutton committed to UT. Was glad when he stuck with his commitment. Am very glad that he is now on the team...

Sutton certainly walked into the perfect PT situation. Sounds like he may have been ahead of Jones before the injury.
Still, before announcing the next Dale Carter, we may want to wait a few words at least. Jones speaks of those who are being force fed and having to play etc. I would say Cam is front and center on that.
Decent depth and most here have forgotten his name. He'll get tested early and often. I'm sure the rough rider up at WKU is already watching his HS film.
Butch talks a big talk and consistency from this kid, and so would I. Doesn't want to do more to put a target on his back.
I hope he holds up because we need him bad this year, even if Jones gets back.
By the time he's a senior, I would concur with Butches predictions. Should be a stud.

i'm excited for this kid--seemed like he didnt have a whole lot of film for defense but the few highlights are really impressive for a 3-star....which I say with love! and an understanding that just gives him more to prove but less to be disappointed about.

BUT
really expecting a lot out of coleman and the newbies. this is the group i'm worried about the most. hoping jones can come back early. gonna need him.
