Cam Tatum

I think he has the potential. But he went through a terrible slump this past year. He will need to be a go-to guy on this team, and a consistent performer. Hopefully he can stay healthy, and add some strength.

2nd rounder next year? An early mock draft I saw today says so

That sounds good but wait until the next draft when
35 players chosen are from foreign countries. He will
go un-drafted.
Sure, if you only consider the players in CONUS,
Continential United States, then he may have a good chance. However; when you consider the 35 foreign players, he will not even be drafted.

What I don't like about the draft. The second round are almost all prospects and projects

he will be a big factor on this year's team. if he could really have a great season and impress the scouts, then yeah he could be a 2nd round pick. i hope he does do this, we need him to pick it up this year !!!

CCM better help Cam get his work ethic and effort to improve or the only place he's going is to ride the pine...

No way this happens. Hopson was leaps and bounds better than Tatum last year and didn't get drafted out of a weaker class. Tatum would need to have a monster year to have any shot at getting drafted and I just don't see it out of him.

I do think he will be much improved and will be an asset, though.

Could be that next year will just be more top-heavy. More stars, but a drop off after that.

Next years draft class will be absolutley loaded. Unless Cam has a season for the record books, that's not going to happen.

when he rolled his ankle last year I thought his season was done. That was nasty.

I believe that a lot of our success (or lack thereof) this year will depend upon the development and performance of Tatum. We have seen flashes in the past...maybe the departure of Scotty will help him.

There's no doubt in my mind that it will help Tatum
