Cameron Crazies and Vol Basketball

I wonder what the chances are of us making our own crazy student section....especially with pearl taking some seats out and adding some behind the bench......everyone that steps foot in duke or dean dome or wake knows what they are up against.....i lived in greensboro for awhile and im amazed how huge of basketball fans they are.....with pearl being a coach that has the potential to land some potential big recruits and turn our program around.......Can the state of Tennessee get behind a great basketball team and if so....what do we call our student section??

Basketball is huge on Tobacco Road...that also goes hand in hand with no decent football in the area as well. UT will always be a "Football" school...with it's deep and rich tradition. Pearl may create some excitement...but it will not overshadow the football program there.


You can use UF as an example as well...Gators have had some decent bball seasons and teams...but it's still football all the time...even during bball season.
