Can Butch, staff, and us fans keep the team from unraveling and giving up this season? I believe in CBJ, but after seeing Tiny and Worley get into it, i wonder if our team will hold it together thru this grueling schedule. I Hope so. GBO

I think the whole team is about to explode if something is not done to correct the QB situation........Better start a bonfire and burn redshirts!

I think you're more dramatic than an 8th grade girl. Or maybe you are an 8th grade girl, and if that's the case, my apologies. :hi:

Did Tiny and Worley get into it?

Or was a responsible teammate (Worley) keeping a key member of the team (Tiny) from going across the field and tearing the head off that USA player that would have probably caused an NCAA violation and caused him to be suspended for a game or two?

Fact, we have no idea what they were discussing and furthermore, Worley could have shown some leadership by getting up in Tiny's face. We have no idea what transpired and other than idiot fans creating bold posts about "Tiny called Worley an assclown" the truth probably won't come out. What's between the team is between the team.

Let's not go creating drama unless the facts are known...

I bet Butch would like to give both freshman another off-season and spring before he had to chose. What if Riley is more ready now but he thinks Dobbs is the long term answer - which do you chose? What if it had been Riley the 1st half of the Florida game that stunk it up - now his chance to redshirt is gone but you don't want to play him anymore? He gets paid to make the tough decisions - it might be rolling with Worley is the best long term solution for the program (but agonizing now). It's tough being a Tennessee fan these days.

I agree, but VN is drama. I'm confused. Fill me in on what threads you believe should be started and which ones should not be started.

This. Worley was being a good teammate to Tiny. Tiny was up against a dirty player from SA.

Tiny was mad at a USA player for going after Worley and other lineman on back-to-back plays, so I think you have that one backwards.

I really don't get why people say this....the facts are simple. If we had stayed ahead of USA like we should have, I am almost certain Ferguson or maybe Dobbs come in late in the game. As it was, we had to struggle to win. No way, no how, do you bring a true frosh into that situation. Yes, Worley had made three ints, but we were running the ball pretty well earlier in the game. Limit Worley, run the ball, eat clock and let the D stop them.

It worked. Bring Ferg in to the game in that situation would have been really, truly, horribly stupid.

I suspect we are going to see one of them next week when the game (very likely) gets way out of hand in either the second or third quarter. But we will see....

In the meantime, I am sick of hearing that "Butch doesn't want to burn a red shirt". Do people seriously think we will go the entire season with getting a backup some reps ?(Peterson is out for the season!)

Honestly, how do some people tie their shoes in the morning? I'm SERIOUS!!!!!

I agree! Worley took 14 pts off the scoreboard yesterday with two picks - one in the endzone, the other at the goal line - of which he tried to force it into triple coverage. I'm sorry but my Pop Warner qb has better decision-making prowess. If Butch doesn't work this qb situation out now, he's in for a hell of an unpleasant ride this year...

Exactly. I was sure we'd see Ferguson, but I was also sure we'd have the game in hand at the half. When that didn't happen, there's no way he could risk putting Ferguson in to potentially ruin the game. Turns out he did exactly what he needed to do by keeping Worley in. I don't know how anybody can disagree with that.

I was concerned how our Oline was manhandled by S.Alabama's defense on many plays......they were in the backfield all day
