Can Chris Jones Get Into School?

I keep seeing comments that Chris Jones won't be able to get into school here. Anyone know the details? What is his GPA and ACT? And if he can't get in, why waste time going after him?

Don't be confused. No one here knows any details, no matter how much they try to act like it. Personally, I would think that if he couldn't qualify, he wouldn't have changed his mind about wanting out of his release. But the bottom is line is to not pay attention to anything posters are saying until we get some official news from Jones or the university it's speculation - don't listen to anyone who tries to pass it off as fact).

Plus, as far as I know, UT doesn't have a minimum requirement for standardized test scores. So theoretically, that shouldn't hold him back. The only other thing is that I guess he needs his HS degree.

I don't think his standing with eligibility would have affected his college decision, other than maybe speeding up his decision so he can focus on getting eligible.

It's a toss up at this point. My problem would be him not being able to get into school at this point, but rather being able to stay in at the University.

There is a lot of misinformation out there because of the assumption that his change in high schools this year was grade related. It was not. It was an eligibity issue with TSSAA. However, I think we can say he still has some things to do to get eligible. We just dont now exactlyl what those things are.

There are plenty of people on campus that will keep him in school if he gets in.

Why is he not showing any rankings on Rivals now? Also, his GPA on there is shown as 3.4.

UT is not even shown on his list of 11 schools as well.
