She was the big winner yesterday. But can she do it again? My guess is no, not in Delaware.

It will be a tough draw... but if she doesn't waiver on conviction she can make it a fight by simply and consistently declaring herself to be a real outsider and really different from the politicians we've been sending to DC.

As recently as 2 weeks ago, most people thought Castle would beat her in a landslide. IMO she has a better chance than the experts think of winning the general election.

Sarah Palin gets a lot of Hell on this board, but her endorsement of O'Donnell may well have been the difference maker last night. That and Castle's support of Obama policies like healthcare and cap-and-trade.

Thank God the NRSC changed their minds and are supporting O'Donnell's campaign now.

surely you know that you could play this little game with just about any politician and it's ugly. Obama would probably actually be the worst, but we're all pretty well aware of that now.

delaware is a very liberal state anyways. they need their gov'mnt cheese. If she loses, she'll lose by standing on what she believe, not trying flip flop like most libs/socialist do (and some rinos for that matter).

did you see that 31 dem politicians sent a letter to pelosi saying they want to extend all the tax cuts. lawgaYtor, do you think if those dems weren't in trouble, would they be sending that letter??? NOPE.. demoRATS have no convictions.

Sarah is batting a 1,000 while every candidate supported by Barry has lost so far.

Steele never did give O'Donnell any grief.

Who is O'Donnell's opponent, Joe Biden's son??

O'Donnell only got 30K votes in the primary. Not saying she can't win, but she has a long way to go. Rasmussen currently has her down by 11 and he's pretty spot on.

Unfortunately the Tea party, as a whole, is moving away from Fiscal Conservatism and injecting more and more Social Conservatism. If this trend continues they will lose my support.

In generic polls, 'would you tend to vote for a republican or a democrat?', Gallup says that republicans lead by the highest percentage in the 68 year history of their poll.

Rasmussen who has the most unbiased poll of all and has been by far the most accurate in predicting results, says that his poll indicates republicans are leading at this point the most ever since he has been in the business, even in traditionally liberal/democrat states.

Only 11% of the American people approve of the job congress is doing, which means that 89 out of every 100 are displeased and most of that blame falls at the feet of the democrats and deservedly so.

Some heavy duty incumbents have already lost, both democrat and republican.

The vast majority of the American people aren't just disappointed, they are highly POed, and more people than ever before are becoming involved in politics.

So anything can happen this election cycle and I don't think that the fact that some of the republican insiders supported the rino Castle will hurt her one bit with the voting public, on the contrary that will probably help her with the independent voter.

What do you think of the chances of the opponents of Reid and Boxer ?

Keep in mind Angle's numbers tanked just after she won the GOP primary in NV as well. And she is now neck and neck with Reid - some even showing a lead. With O'Donnell, we will see if she rebounds.
