Not for nothing, if Pinkston picks Tennessee on Wednesday that would either mean that one school might have the opportunity to get the best two NY players or it most likely means the elimination of the Vols from the Harris equation if they haven't been eliminated already. Also, Maryland just acquired Ashton Pankey who also plays the 3 or 4 same as Harris. The bottom line is that Harris has serious NBA aspirations so visibility and success at the college level is key. The BIG EAST offers more TV time, but the ACC is a better fit as teams there tend to play a more open floor transition game which will highlight Harris' skills set better. With the advent of cable and 8 billion channels, BE's television superiority is not as much a premium as it use to be.

At the end of the day, only Pinkston and Harris truly know which college they will be attending until Wednesday and Thursday so stay tuned to NYCHoops.net or sign up for NYCHoops Twitter for full coverage.

Jayvaughn Pinkston is arguably the best player in New York City and his recruitment has been strong. With an original list that included Marquette, Seton Hall, St. John's, Tennessee, Arizona and Villanova. Pinkston has since then the narrowed his final list to Villanova, St Johns, and Tennessee.

Isn't Harris suppose to sign during the early signing period as well or is he going down to signing day?
