I read so many posts talking about shallow depth chart but saying, "We'll be alright if we don't get hit by injuries".

We've already seen players lost. I am not being a nega here, but I don't want folks pinning their hopes on the rest of the season being relatively injury free. What positions are we so shallow that losing the starter will have the greatest impact on the VOLS bowl game hopes?

I doubt anybody expects that. On any team.

WR is probably the only position we have depth. But even there, losing someone like North would be a huge blow.

FYP :) ... That's how I always heard it.

And ... 'If' bullfrogs had wings, they wouldn't bumpeth their butts on the ground.

If ... we can only get through this season without serious injury to anyone.

Firstly, I'd hate to see any of our Volunteers go through devastating, possibly career ending, injuries.

Secondly, Just a few serious injuries could change the whole nature of what we are hoping for this year.

Frankly, I think it's Worley. The way he's been going through passing progressions and stepped up to become a team leader and field general. Yes, we've got other options for QB, but I see him as the one man I'd most hate losing right now.

QB, WR, O-LINE, D-LINE,...ARE YOU WITH ME?
We really can't afford to lose any more starters.
There's just not enough experience and depth to go through the schedule we have and expect a bowl.
Will we lose any other starters...probably. :hi:
GO VOLS!

Given the small chance of victory the next two games, the OP's question is probably the most critical the next two weeks.

If we can survive in tact and gain some experience from these games, we could get some quality wins in October and November and lock down a bowl bid.

That's all we need is some injuries in some critical positions. If that happens it could spell big time trouble for our very young team. Lets just keep our fingers crossed.

I think about the only positions we could sustain an injury or 2 are at WR and perhaps at safety. Gotta have a very solid 2015 class.

We really can't afford any injuries... but if Worley keeps holding on to the ball too long, he's gonna take some hard hits. With our O-line, he needs a quick release, especially against teams like Oklahoma.
