Now that Stokes is returning and the Vols are set to be one of the most powerful teams in the country can they pull off a Top 25 recruiting class for this upcoming year? Just wondering what everyone thinks considering the Vols lose a ton of talent after this season. Go Vols!
I hope your right and we are one of the most powerful teams in the country. The problem might be Kentucky and pay pal Cal. has about 6 five star players signed for the up comming season for the cats.
We will need a top 10 type class considering we will lose almost every bit of our firepower next year. When you subtract Maymon, Stokes, McRae, and Golden you had better bring in top shelf talent or we will be one year wonders.
Would love to have Cofer. I really don't like our chances with several of the other high major prospects like Lindsey, Looney or Lyle. The more big time programs are involved I feel the less likely we get them. It does say something that CCM is on their list though. I see a good possibility of Cofer, Chiozza and Haas.
Even those three that's a good good class bring in one of the L's and we are a top 15 class. We need to replace talent not have to rebuild the team next year.
No we won't. Do you understand what it takes to have a top 10 class? We need contributors that can come in and perform day one. We aren't a program right now that can just bring in top 10 talent. We have a chance to have one but it's def not mandatory. Hubbs will be here most likely after next season and maybe Stokes too if he under performs.
You don't have to sign top 10 kids to have a top 10 class. 1 kid in the top 25 and two in the top 75 and another in the top 100 would get you there.
I think they need a top 10 class, too.
