Can we break 138db Saturday?

I was blessed to get a ticket in the high dollar section and they were weak making noise. I felt like I was the only one making noise in earlier downs. I hope the people in the lower west club bring it on Saturday. We only win if we rattle milroe

I believe this article is different than the other articles that mention Deboer.
It’s a decent article with a misleading title. DeBoer didn’t say anything about Neyland. The video clip making the rounds online was AI-generated.

What was the loudest game at Neyland Stadium?
98 Florida was a sustained roar like few i remember.

Peak moments of delirum

The fumble in 98
22 Bama
Piss poor officiating 21 Ole Miss

That Ole Miss game rarely gets mentioned except for the mustard bottle, but leading up to the field being littered, there were moments you could feel the anger of a 100k people. Between ridiculous calls and Lane having them obviously fake injuries for the first time, i was a little concerned it might get really ugly. But there were moments when it was LOUD.

Idk. 98 Florida I think was the loudest. I don’t think we can achieve that level again the way the stadium is now.

You’re about 10k less seats and those club seats for the most part don’t do what a bunch of drunk rednecks and hillbillies would.

Closest we’ve come to that level would be the year we beat Bama.

I was at the Florida game with the infamous Jabar Gaffney "catch". Same thing, you could literally feel the anger in the air. Two Florida fans sitting directly in front of us decided to leave immediately out of fear. They were actually a couple of nice guys, no trash talk during the game, just routine cheering for their team but they were concerned someone might take frustrations out on them and broke for the exit.

Parents and I snuck in 12 beers between us all and we continued the festivities. Loudest anything has ever been in my entire life. Don’t think it’ll ever get that loud again. I hope not. I think I have permanent damage from that night… worth it
I couldn't hear my own screams that night. It was honestly bizarre.

I was at the non- catch game too. And it was indeed loud - it was insane…..

Loudest all time was ‘98 Florida

This db stuff is all a joke like we are 120db one day and 135 one day
135 is 4 times louder than 120 etc. Put your mouth next to the device you can hit twice as much as being 20 feet away etc

Hard for any one person to objectively say what the loudest game was from their own experience. I was at Florida 1998, Florida 2004 and Alabama in 2022. Those were all pretty loud.

But funny enough, the loudest experience I remember was Florida 2006... but I think my seat and the folks sitting around me were the cause because Florida 2006 is rarely cited as being one of the loudest games.

Probably not a bad idea. Zebras got TF out of there as well. I don’t think I’ve ever been so damn mad at a football game.

If it gets late and the game is within reach, it will be damn loud. It’ll be loud to start the game too. Can’t let them suck the air out of the stadium on the first drive.
