What the!?!?! Where did you get that picture of him in a Tennessee uniform? There's no way that's been photoshopped...

In all seriousness, I think it's highly unlikely that we land Pryor. That said, if we get him on campus for an official visit, we've at least got a puncher's chance.

Someone said that they saw him there today. Dont know how credible that is or even who it was that posted it but someone definitely said they saw him.

I really doubt someone saw him. He will be lucky if he gets 5 officials in(likely 4, maybe just 3) because he is so busy. I doubt he made a leisurely unofficial down to Tennessee for the game.

I read on another forum, which was posted by a OSU fan that it will come down to Tennessee and Ohio St. Texas is now out of his list plus Florida is going to convert him to another position, so i doubt they land him. I also heard that maybe Penn St. might be out of his list too, but i'm not sure if that's legit. Pryor also said that he's not going to a school that won't let him play both sports, so maybe that puts us ahead of WVU. So this puts it down to two teams. IF we can get a official visit with him, i think we have a good shot to sign him. He's not going to commit until the Army AA game.

No way Fulmer let's his star quarterback play basketball if he does decide to come here... He may say he will to get him here... but I don't see it happening - unless it's just his freshman year or something.

How does scholarships work out for a mutlisport athlete?

Can we put him on a football OR basketball scholarship? Or does it take 1 of both ,etc. I'm not sure how this works.

Anyone know?

I think that might have a impact on our recruitment of him.

I'm pretty sure the circumstances are way different here. Plus basketball and football schedules over lap. And a lot has changed in Fulmer since Helton.. and notice Helton didn't stay on the team after he realized what he was up against.

Pryor could = instant starter, I'm not seeing many similarities.

It's a football Scholly. Doesn't count against bball.

Let's have Pearl, Trooper, & the "Big Fisherman" recruit him.

Helton realized baseball was his golden ticket and didn't play anymore football after an injury scare.

Scholarship would only count once. I would imagine that if he was to play both sports, they would give him a football scholly since basketball schollies are more limited in number.

Pryor had originally commited his sophomore year (to Pitt I believe) to play basketball, but backed off that when he started getting attention in football. He may want to play both, but this tells me he thinks football is his ticket.

If we get Pryor I will stand on my head. I just do not see it happening. Pearl may be the X factor in this equation.
