Can we obtain a petition to keep Gary Danielson from calling our games?

I will say, I did think that was a fumble. Another 2-3s of struggling with no ball out? Play is dead at that point. But, getting forward progress, then struggling to get more for 1-2s and the ball come out? I think that's a fumble, and they were a little quick to call the play dead. IMO, and based on anecdotal events I've seen before while watching games.

Had the ball not popped out and he instead managed to wiggle away at that moment and scored they WOULD NOT have huddled and called him down.

I think Danielson is one of the better analyst. He calls it like he sees it and in most cases he calls it like it really is. We can't be afraid to hear the truth and the truth is that we are not a very good football team right now.

damn is not a good analyst. Guess what, Most good analyst would not repeatedly refer to CBJ as Butch Davis. We are not afraid of the truth, we as fans have been living it. But, with what the team has been through the last few years mixed with true freshman... We are a good team, just not good enough YET to beat the top teams. Danielson is retarded.

Correct. On the replay, it was clearly evident that the whistle did not blow until well after the ball came free. Given the fact that no portion of the ball carrier's body touched the ground prior to the fumble, the only CORRECT call would have been Tennessee's ball.

I've always found Danielson to be about the most honest and insightful in the business. His honesty hasn't been pleasant to hear in recent years, but I think he sees and picks up on things that other analysts fail to.
When the Vols return to form, he will be one of the first to let folks know it.
