After that Ok State started at Texas's 18 and just could have taken knees until they kicked a game-winning FG (rather than OT).

Texas had just scored 3 TDs in the last quarter to come back from a 45-24 deficit at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Their last play was 45 yard run for a touchdown by the QB on 3rd down with almost a minute left in the 4th quarter.

There were no timeouts left.


The fans, the players, everyone in that stadium were all screaming and celebrating, getting ready to go into overtime.

And then that kick. In less than a second, that all turned to mostly 91,568 people's worth of speechless shock...fans and teams.




You can see that even the Cal players couldn't believe what just happened.

Thanks for the recap of the Cal game. I was deer hunting last weekend and didn't get to see any games. I did check the scores Sunday morning, so I knew Texas had lost, just not the details. I could tell on the video that the Cal players were shocked as well.
