I'm not talking about Jon Gruden, I think he is a viable option. I am talking about guys like

Jimbo Fishers
Jeff Fisher
Jim Harbaugh
Pete Carrol
David Shaw
Mike Holmgren

Not one of these candidates would even take a phone call from Tennessee. No head coach in the NFL will leave for a college job. The only reason Gruden is considering college is because he is a little crazy and he seems to really want to coach college. As for Shaw, he has done great things at Stanford. Why would he leave? He can still get an NFL job after a few strong seasons at Stanford. Jimbo won't leave a top Florida State team that continues to recruit amongst the best in the nation.
