Can we accept a commitment (as long as we don't need to take others as well) from Prater and Rodgers??

We could move Teague back to DB along with Meline. It would leave us with 5-6 Spots. Enough room for Green, Cullen, and ArieK. Enough room for Shirley, CJones OR Nelson. Finally we can end it with Lemonier and Quarles.

If we lose Delvin Jones or Ralph Williams (or say get lost) then we should really really really burn up the phone for Dorsey, Robey or possible RB.

A 5-star recruit is based on the top 20-25 players in the entire country, you can not honestly tell me we would not accept both!

Anyone who tells Delvin Jones to get lost is a moron. He is a freak athlete. Someone who if developed correctly will be a high first round draft pick.

I don't see getting Rogers if Prater Commits. I would love to have Ambles, Prater, and Rogers. But it would be beyond tough to sell all three kids....

I am sure if there is a way all three would come we would find room though. It is just getting all three....

Since when was Rodgers interested in us?? Thought he was solid on GA. If Prater decommitts from USC, he will go to OK or ILL!

Seems like we have Prater ahead of Rodgers on the board. If we get Prater we will not get Rodgers. We'd have to use 2 scollys on him.

if prater decommitts then the two on his list are UT and Ill and ND probably follows. if we was to get rogers he would be a sign and place kid

i'm not liking the rogers situation, i say go after prater with both barrels and if it happens rock and roll, if not let's go after other areas. do NOT burn two spots on a wr and a vanderbilt qb.

even though you bashed me the other day lol your right about this one. our scholly's are limited as it is and we cant afford to give one away to someone that wont even play plus rogers has grade issues

I dont see us taking both, Prater >>>> Rogers. The staff is going to go hard after Prater but I just dont see him ending up at UT unless he is really down to Illinois & UT. I think Oklahoma & ND could be players in his recruitment. I dont like the idea of wasting a schooly on Nance if it means getting Rogers.

I haven't read anything about Prater that would suggest that he would come here if he decommited from USC. He had OK, ND, and IL ahead of UT before he commited to USC. I would like to see him play for UT but I don't seeing happening. I also don't like using two schollies for Rogers either.

ND has a new coach and OK had a rough year. he has stated that his two main interests rare UT and Illinois... as of right now.

We have 25 schollys with two more to back count to last year bringing us to 27. There are 3 spots we can sign but have to have 3 people gone by August (sign and place in Hargrave Military or another school) or someone brought up an idea about Palardy being able to qualify for an academic scholarship. Obviously, that would help with numbers.Possibly others could do that too. Not sure.

Kelly is a proven coach with a very successful track record so that would not effect their recruiting at all IMO. However at the time that I posted my previous post I hadn't read the Prater thread yet. The news does look positive towards UT but he would still have to make the visit. IMO if we get Prater then I think Rogers isn't going to happen.

We don't have to worry about getting Prater and Rogers. One or the other. And I don't want Nash Nance.
