I know most of us complain about the Banks and the defense. Admittedly they have a long way to go, especially at DB.

But this defense has held the Tigers to 7 first half points and coverage was good enough to help the D go 3/3 on 4th down stops.

Defense has done their duty in the first half!

A lot of it has to do with being paper thin at db. Bend but don’t break keeps the offense from getting big plays and gives them more chances to make a mistake.

Some real good blitz stunts this game is keeping them from converting those 3rd downs that we normally can't cover in the middle of the field.

Just a follow up here. The defense put out another good performance in the second half. Allowed only 6 points in the second half!

I’ve been pretty hard on the defense this year, but these guys did their jobs today and bowed up when it really mattered. Even picked one to keep garbage time points off the board.
