Easiest thing to do is hit below the belt and play on people's fears. Things are screwed up pretty bad this year. Understatment of the year. Fulmer's biggest mistake was not correcting things earlier. To say he is a waste of time and money is just wrong. He will give it his best shot and effort and I think it will turn around next year. Name calling solves nothing. Anyone can point out a problem. Also provide a solution when you choose to criticize.

I gotta ask u U-T does winning a NC make a coach a legend or something, everybody that witnessed that season knows our coaches were on the field that year not the sideline.

Who said Fulmer was a legend? He hired coaches and built that team into a National Champion. Nancies want to make it seem that he never did it THEN want to act as if other coaches have done it constantly.

Richt and Tubby are good coaches but until they win the NC...they don't have any real gripe about winning the big one

Um, if you've been reading the posts, you'd see solutions have been offered. As a matter of fact, solutions have been offered for years. It took this year for just about everyone of those offered solutions to finally be enacted.

How many division titles? How many conference titles? How many bowl wins? How many 'quality' wins over major opponents including conference? Since all of those above have been in their current seats how many All-Americans, how many top draft picks and how many major Pro players have each produced? All compared to Fulmer in the same time period of course.

No one is doubting or questioning the NC. If you've been paying attention the question has been what has happened since. I'd even pinpoint just the past couple of years. Can you honestly say these past few years have all been wonderful and problem free?

So you're completely content with someone winning a NC almost a decade ago and showing nothing but a downward spiral since? It doesn't take much to keep you on the bandwagon does it? Win a NC and settle in with contentment from that point on. Who cares what happens after that right?
