Hey I'm not concerned w any fan that wears "Orange Tinted" sunglasses. My concern is with the UT Fan that wears the UlTra Thick Orange colored GOGGLES!
Just be REAL when evaluating Fulmers coaching savvy. In my opinion several UT Fans have been blinded too long by many a lame win over the Weak Sisters of the NCAA. In many of those games, UT should have "blown out" the undermanned opponent. Especially considering UT has the advantage of having a UAB, Wyoming, UNLV or WHOEVER COME to Neyland in front of 100,000 PLUS UT Fans and THEY almost pull off the upset. Not to mention disappointing Bowl tallies against some average opponents. My point / question, issue here is if Fulmer can turn around the situation he's solely been responsible of creating over the last 4-5 years.
With absolutely nothing to connect to the Majors era. I have my doubts in TODAY'S sports scenery Fulmer can heavily monitor the necessary changes for UT to make substantial improvement. Bottomline question is why would he allow a proud & elite UT Football Program hit rock bottom before making ANY changes. My friends, I do not pretend to be a football expert, but for YEARS it has been obvious our offense has sucked.
Like Fulmer or not, he's got to start being the true progressive LEADER UT Football so desperately needs. No more wimpy coaching, no more underdeveloped / ill prepared 5 Star player performances & no more moldy, predictable, stale 8 play offensive scheme gameplans should be acceptable!
C'mon UT Fans we have better & we deserve better.

Yep, "Kool-aid" can in no way be associated with those who jump on every mistake and determine it equates to mediocrity and poor leadership
Yep, it is in no way hypocritical to label the defenders of Fulmer as sheep, Kool-aid drinkers and morons but then get indignant that those with a different opinion than yours are criticizing you

Explain previous years' decline in production, development of NFL talent, offensive production, etc. This has been a downward spiral only coming to a head this year. Had we beat Vandy and went to a bowl, things would be hunk-dory here. Had we beat SC, Sanders would still be on board. But we didn't because of MANY factors that this season finally brought to light. This season was years in the making. It happened behind the scenes. Actually it happened in the open but only a few spotted it. Those who pointed out poor offensive production, execution, discipline issues, etc. long ago were labeled naysayers and doomsdayers.....even now after this season they're still being called this.
I'm disappointed that something so obvious had to take a losing season to be corrected. THAT is the problem many had and still have with Fulmer. A Head Coach should not have taken this long to act. Actually, he didn't even act. It was crowd pressure that forced Sanders out and a losing season that forced the other changes. Again had we squeaked by Vandy I'd seriously doubt anything else would have been done. I don't like the fact that a coach getting paid one of the highest salaries in the game and with his winning record has to make major needed changes only after bombing like the team did. If it takes going down the toilet to make obvious decisions, then EVERYONE needs to question the decision maker.
Seriously if this season was an anomaly, why don't you all go pressure the AD and CPF to bring RS, JRS, and PW back. An anomaly is not a reason to get rid of these guys right? Bring them all back and kiss their posteriors asking for forgiveness.
