. . . but the best call of the night was the one they didn't go for on the last drive. It had to be awfully tempting to go on 4th and 1 and slam the door right there, but the right call was definitely to put our All-American punter on the field and play defense. :thumbsup:
It was amazing that they went for it- out of character. Then equally amazing that they didn't keep going for it- smartly so.
Fulmer seems to always stick with one plan or another whether it's working or not. Tonight him and his coaches actually seemed to not only take some non-conservative risks in a smart way, but go back to being conservative when that was smart, too.
