Another excellent game for Gruver , and Duffy had more than one double. Vols are 3-1 winning 4-0, and amazing this seem's like a repeat of what happened last Friday.

Hour, 52 minutes. Pitch clock and new bats are a good combination. Although the bats played zero role in Gruver's strikeouts. He's flat good.

yeah...Gruver looks to be the real deal so far. I've enjoyed watching him work. Hate to say it, but another baserunning snaff-u today and a couple runners caught stealing. hope they iron this stuff out b4 SEC play...we'll need those runs we're leaving out there. Also need to mention Zach Osborne, SS, made an awesome play to end the game. Dove for one in his gap, bounced up, and threww the runner out at first. very nice way to close it out. Levi Dean came on for 2 innings of shut out relief work. Go Vols!!

Tomorrow's matchup has Jon Reed on the mound for the Vols. First pitch is at 2:06 and should be beautiful weather. If you are going to the basketball game, bring your ticket for free admission. Go Vols!!

Fantastic win. The Vols are 4-1, and have won their first two series of the season. Also right now the Cards are beating Vandy 3-0.
