Can't have a letdown

I wish we had a game Wednesday instead of Tuesday. Alas.

This was a huge win not only for the players, but for the fans. One of my five favorites games since watching UT basketball (2004). It was awesome.

However, the players can still accomplish a lot. They have to beat LSU. The game is at home, so that helps. But they have to stay focused.

Still have six games left to go. Time to hunker down and finish the season strong.

After watching them today, and feeling the electric full house, I really think this team has meshed. Nothing selfish about them. Keep playing fast and physical and they should have no problem until we hit Florida. Hate to say it, but IMO the gators are FF material. If the Vols pull off the win against UF they should get an invite. Provided they win out.

It's got letdown written all over it. LSU is a good team. Definitely good enough to beat us if we aren't fully there and ready to play.

My opinion of Cuonzo Martin as a basketball coach will be affected significantly by our performance in this game. Will he have us ready to go, and the UK win behind us? Or do we come out flat and never respond?

As a fan, though, I'm just enjoying the hell out of this win. I'm going to bask in it, and be as insufferable as possible to all the ******* UK fans that cross my path.

People need to come out and represent Tuesday. The team was definitely feeding off the energy of the crowd today; could be a big letdown for them if they get a half-empty arena Tuesday night. I, for one, will be there.

I understand why people are being cautious about a potential let down, but personally I don't see it happening. I think we'll be ready to go. Our boys know every game is critical down the stretch.
