Til when Jones does in fact bring us back from this atrocity that Dooley left him with, and you guys that are starting these threads acting like you all could do better say "I knew he was the right guy all along". I hope their are a lot of thread bumping going on.

Inb4 this is a dumb thread. 99% of the ones calling for his job are just as dumb.

A lot of it is frustration from last night and to a point I can understand this but all the get rid a various members of the coaching staff needs to stop. I get it, the Vandy loss was a bad loss and this team should have won for a lot of reasons.

With that said, give the coaching staff just a little time. This staff has been here less than a year and all these football pundits already want heads. The LAST thing this program needs right now is more coaching changes. The staff needs support now more than ever ... If you can't see that then you do not what caused this problem in the first place! I believe CBJ will turn this program around if given enough time!

I believe what happened last night was from a mixture of things. Mostly being from the wear and tear of the season. Another thing being Dooley's players are still here.

Who's calling for his job? Most are just calling for him to be accountable and do a hell of a lot better job preparing the team to play. Also, wouldnt mind to see even a hint of player development while he's at it. Definitely NOT calling for his job but he has to do a much better job going forward. The team as gone backward, significantly, since the SCar game.

I will be honest. I am a fan of CBJ. I believe he has it in him to be a great coach. The players love him and want to come play for him. I know nothing about the rest of the coaching staff. If this coaching staff is the problem I hope CBJ can realize that he cannot play buddy buddy with his old pals from Cincy and C. Mich or wherever they all coached together at and make some changes if they are warranted. I imagine it is going to take some money to do that as well.

However...If next year is not markedly better than this year...I am going to find it difficult to get behind him like I have. Of course, until he is no longer wearing orange, I will be behind him as the coach but he is going to have to pull something out next year. I understand we are losing a lot of players to graduation but he has to show me something better next year.

I cannot tell you how many times I read in the game thread last night to fire the entire lot of coaches. Several were pointed directly at Butch.

Look at the receivers, TEs and QB and then consider what the staff had to work with......then look at the secondary. Pickings are slim and there's no depth behind these guys.....

I hope some of these people go away and become Alabama fans.

Bet that was pure, raw emotion and frustration right after the game. It's idiotic on multiple levels to demand he fired. I obviously believe he needs and deserves more time. But I gotta say, I've gone from 100% Butch to about 60% over these last 3 weeks.... I'm not even counting the Bama game. He has to do much better or he's gonna see a ton of empty seats next year. It's a good thing the Ky game is away.

This right here all day long. I think very few people would actually want to see Butch let go this season, but he seriously better step it up if he wants to win here and stay here.

I'm just like everybody else were getting sick and tired of hearing the phrase wait until next yr. That crap has been going on since 08 its time to do something. After watching this team this yr the scary thing is that we got worse as the season played out. I myself will be glad to see a lot of these players from the Dooley era gone because all they know how to do is give up when their backs are on the line. I hope and pray that the incoming players have a lot better work ethic and attitude when they put them orange jerseys on.
