To see how this young team progresses and what we look like at the end of the season. Progression, Progression, Progression. It's coming vols, it's coming.

I'm seeing great improvement in discipline with this team over the previous 2 or 3 seasons and that is a result of great coaching from Butch and staff. Specifically, I'm seeing defensive players staying in their lanes and holding the edges. Some of the blown coverages we saw last night are going to get fixed in the film room, on the practice field, and in future games.

Can't complain about the effort. This loss will go a long way in preparing this team for better days ahead in the SEC. No, I don't believe in moral victories, but, this comes close. I won't talk about the refs. You decide.

GO VOLS!

I can't wait to have a line that blocks someone and a QB to run whatever that is we run..

My question is will the OL improve enough this year so Worley doesn't get hurt? That's really what the rest of this hinges on in my opinion.

Also Darr=bigger bust than Palardy. To even call him an SEC punter is a disgrace.

Can progress experience during the season.

May progress strength a little during the season with the young guys but that's primarily an off season endeavor.

Cannot progress speed, size or depth during the season.

OL is not going to get much better this year. Another injury or two and we may be playing TEs on OL. Other than Bama we may not play a tougher OL than OK but we will play plenty of teams with good secondaries and speed enough to get around the ends while Worley checks his progressions.

The bye really comes at a good time for the O line. They need an extra week to work on some fundamentals and schemes. I think it will pay huge dividends. They won't be all SEC, but I doubt we will see what we did last night again.

I believe this game will do them more good than harm. They'll learn and grow from it.

Huh? Palardy was the MVP of our team last year. What were you watching?

1 good season doesn't make up for the other 3. We don't recruit punters/kickers to start performing their senior season. He had a good senior season but when judging his entire career at Tennessee, Palardy was a bust.
