I was at the game last night and was watching as jodie meeks lit ut up for 54 points. I started thinking, in all of ut's losses this year, someone on the opposing team has had a career day, as far as the number of points scored. in the temple, kansas and kentucky games, the players listed below had career scoring games. i listed the gonzaga players just to show how much their leading scorer had.
i could understand more if chism or brian williams were getting manhandled down low every game and that's where the points were coming from, but all these guys are making shots from the perimeter. and being a ymca all-star, i can appreciate the shooting exhibition meeks put on last night, it was the most impressive shooting display i have ever seen.
Gonzaga - Steven Gray - 19
Temple - Dionte Christmas - 35, Sergio Olmos - 19
Kansas - Sherron Collins - 26
Gonzaga - Matt Bouldin - 26
Kentucky - Jodie Meeks - 54
